SPARK THREADS

In the date input field, the time has to be manually input - it should instead be set with an initialValue of current time, same as date, and then be allowed to be manually adjusted if need be.

On the front end render, individual sparks contained within a Group of a Spark Thread should be time/date stamped, including the 'last edited (date/time)' disclaimer - which upon hover should display a pop out overlay showcasing all previous versions, which should redirect upon click to then opening that version; which should highlight additions/subtractions/adjustments in a similar way as GitHub/IDE version history.

Spark Threads should be accessible as a pop-out overlay drawer in the right hand corner so that the dev can edit these as they explore the rest of the site; for example, I'm currently going through the site in one tab with this spark thread open in another tab. I'd rather be able to just simply add these in the lower right hand corner.

The header/nav menu in the editors desk needs refined. it takes up way to much of the screen. I don't mind the way that this is done on the public front end, but I'd also like that hovering circle that transforms into an oval upon hover in the bottom right hand of the screen (this could/should be how i access the spark thread feature which i referenced above) as well as also including things like 'publish post', etc. find the most optimized way to utilize both of these approaches.

on http://localhost:3000/desk/articles, the preview card for articles needs refined just a little bit. redesign the way the slug is displayed, add the author (complete with avatar and everything), tags, date/time, etc. it should be a bit more expansive than the card thats displayed on the public end, as this is indeed meant for the dev. perhaps implementing automatically updated live analytics - utilizing Vercel analytics?

The spacing between divider lines, chapter breaks, etc needs refined.

#7To-do

Edited Jun 6, 2026 · 6:06 PM

Dev should have the ability to change font, font size, spacing, alignment, etc and/or there should be more advanced and refined selections in the section that offers the 'heading 2', 'header 3', 'quote', etc. Dev should also have the ability to add additional styles to this feature via formatting configurations curated in the article itself. 'EDITORIAL NOTE' should also be created/input here.

Inserted custom content blocks (facebook posts/references/quotes/photos/links/etc) should have a subtle boarder around them matches the visual identity of the rest of the site that labels them as "EXHIBIT # ___ (chronological)", refine and enhance this idea - but don't get carried away.

the '§' symbol in the section line divider should be replaced with 'ᨒ'

When the inspector is hidden, the width of both the publishing suite and the live preview window stay the same. the entire point of having the collapsible desk is so that the live preview window is expanded when the inspector is hidden. also, add a 'desktop/mobile' toggle switch to the live preview window.

Project inline references via the custom block creator should allow for the word to remain in the text body. for instance, im trying to reference the project '#SENILE' in this sentence: "for both the sake of context and staying on topic would probably this rough concept video that I made around the same time as this, and as I began to work on the project that this will in a sense evolve into, '#SENILE.'" and the project inline option is removing the work '#SENILE'" for the inline reference block.
