Word is spreading fast so here's the official update: my Grandpa Doug was in an accident about an hour ago on his motorcycle. The other car involved was trying to go around him and cut him off in his lane, miscalculated & they hit head on. Grandpas bike stopped in place and he was thrown off and his body was flipped several times over before landing in the grass on the side of the road. Luckily there were several witnesses at the gas station across the street (one being a nurse) who rushed over to help because he was just laying there. He was awake and conscious and was mad at the paramedics for leaving his boot at the scene (typical Doug), so luckily it's not as bad as it could've been considering the circumstances. Right now he is in a Cat Scan and then after that they're checking him is being prepped for surgery because his bone is coming out of his leg. They are still doing X-Rays and checking for internal damage but as of now it seems like he is okay! If you want to visit you're more than welcome, we are in the ER at Goshen General Hospital. WITH THAT BEING SAID: He is about to go into Surgery and we're not sure how long that will take. I personally haven't got to see him yet.
