today was fathers day or somethin' like that - so i wanted to take a second to give a shout out to the most incredible man that any of us have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. as a notoriously unemotional person - i get the most emotional when i'm thinking/talking about my Grandparents. you have touched more hearts + made more of an impact than you will ever understand, or that anybody will ever be able to properly articulate to you. you have fathered so many children that weren't your burden to carry, + I hope that you never go one second feeling unappreciated for that. you are the one + only man that so many of us can always count on to come through for us, no hesitations, no questions asked. I challenge any + every one of you to show me a man who has lived through even a fraction of what this man has + not only survived, but done so with the most amazing mindset + attitude. I will never be the man that you are, but I will spend my entire life trying to do so. I love you, Grandpa Doug. As do so many others. Thank you so much for everything you have ever done, + continue to do. There will never, ever, EVER be another man like you.
