I've been a server and a bartender my entire life except for one brief stint in a plastics factory. At that plastic factory I was doing quality control for parts that were used to make buses and airplanes, and I had to put my initial on each part as I checked it through the process and put it into shipping. Today 8 years later I still wonder if something is going to happen somewhere in the world to a bus or an airplane because of a part that I let go through quality control with my initials on it and it not being correct. As a server and a bartender if somebody told me that they were allergic to something and by mistake I either run the wrong dish, tell them the wrong ingredients or mistakenly not exclude that from their food, me and the company that I work for could and would both be sued and I would almost certainly be fired. Think of how many as mistakes that you are allowed to slide with at your job before it becomes an actual issue. So with that in mind tell me why in the goddamn hell these police officers can do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it and why they have billion dollar budgets and are dressed like Stormtroopers while our hospitals are not prestocked for a pandemic and our nurses are in fucking garbage bags. somebody make the shit make sense to me.
