*DISCLAIMER - not only do I fully welcome any corrections or contradictions, but I also feel that it will strengthen the validity of the point that I'm trying to make.) Okay, so on Sunday, March 29th - Trump extends the Federal Governments *Nationwide* Social Distancing + 'Stay at Home Recommendations' through April 30th, a full 30-day increase. 2 Days Later, March 31st - Indiana Governor, Eric Holcomb extends his Statewide *Industry Specific; Bar and Restaurant* Order through April 7th, a mere 7-day increase with (correct me if I'm mistaken) no mention of his Statewide 'Stay at Home' order/'recommendations', and the vague condition that it 'may' extend past that. Not only was the 'Bar + Restaurant Order' the first that Eric Holcomb implemented in Indiana, but it is also the most dangerous according to information from our Federal Government + Health Officials across the board. Also, how do the Federal 'Guidelines' not overpower the Governors? Is it a play on terminology since the Federal Government is issuing 'Guidelines' and our Governor is issuing 'Orders'? If so, why is Trump not being more aggressive with his terminology/liberties? Especially considering that his messaging has gained a more somber/serious tone stating that 'the death-toll numbers we're looking at "are higher than some World Wars", + the 'Task Force' (Federal) has now informed us that the BEST CASE SCENARIO *which they defined as absolutely everyone in the Country following the specific Social Distancing/Self-Isolation/'Only Essentials' guidelines* America will lose 100,000 - 250,000 lives - and the worse case scenario having a death toll in the millions. *** ^ This is straight from the mouth of Donald Trump, and The Federal Coronavirus Task Force ^ *** Regardless of all of this, and regardless of the fact that Eric Holcomb will inevitably extend not only the 'Bar and Restaurant' order, but his Statewide 'Stay at Home' order beyond April 7th, this is my issue: At the beginning of this, the Federal Government was downplaying the seriousness of this and responding slowly, therefore States were acting independently - now it seems that the Federal Government is speaking with a more strict/somber tone... But our Governor has a more optimistic view? One that is considering Indianapolis is labeled a 'Hot-Spot' by our Surgeon General (Federal) and consequently Marion County considered a 'Red Zone' by our State Government - and the 'Peak' (meaning Cases/Hospitalizations/Deaths) for Indianapolis *THE CITY THAT GOVERNOR ERIC HOLCOMB OPERATES OUT OF* not expected for THREE WEEKS, then why would he not just extend the order through the end of the month along with the Federal Guidelines? And why only reference the industry-specific 'Bar + Restaurant Order' as opposed to the the State Wide 'Stay At Home' order, or recommendations, or guidelines, or whatever the fuck we are currently under in each + every goddamn individual city, county, state, not to mention the Federal orders, recommendations, and guidelines. Why is there so many alterations, confusion, contradicting information, opposing views, opinions, fucking orders, rules, guidelines, reports, EVERYTHING? How in the hell do they expect us to take this shit seriously, and how in the hell do they expect us to know what to do, know what is safe, know what is ALLOWED, know how to plan, know what to expect, KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOINGGGG ONNNNNNNN, WHO IS RUNNING THIS SHIT SHOW??? I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE GODDAMN MAAANAAAGGEERRRRRR BROOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Shit is different from 10am to 10pm, from Elkhart City to Elkhart County, from State to Federal, from ABC to NBC, from Joe to Jane!! How is this inconsistent messaging and disorganization helping, informing, or calming anybody or anything!?!?!?!? FUCK.
